FAQ'S

What are our Chief sunglasses made of?
Most of our eyewear range is made from bamboo, however we still have styles made from other types of timber/wood, and of course the very popular recycled skateboard decks. All of these materials are eco-friendly and sustainable.

How are our Chief sunglasses made?
Our frames are made using a machine which ensures consistency in the measurements. However, each pair of our sunglasses are then assembled and put together by hand with special care to ensure quality control.

Do our sunglasses float?
All of our bamboo sunglasses float, but not necessarily the other types of wood. Please email us if you want to know about a specific pair.

Do we offer prescription lenses for our bamboo/wooden sunglasses?
We currently do not offer prescription lenses for our sunglasses. However, just like other sunglasses you can take the frames to an eye professional to get the lenses replaced.

All of our pairs of our bamboo sunglasses have polarised lenses with UV400 protection (the maximum protection available today).
